Impact Operations Intern

for UiS master students, autumn 2023, passionate about sustainable, liveable cities.
Internship · Stavanger

Helping cities get the best out of shared mobility

We are a Norwegian govtech startup helping cities regulate and understand micromobility (e.g. shared bikes and electric scooters) - and other forms for mobility in the public space..

With our tools, cities exchange data with mobility operators and their fleets of shared vehicles. We put this data to work to control the public space, enabling cities to get the best out of shared mobility.

We are seeking a highly motivated intern to join our team to further develop our commitment to sustainable impact and change for ourselves and our clients; cities and mobility operators. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial mindset and a keen attention to detail.

Deliver great services for cities

We believe that you are great person, a more than average organised person, but not necessarily a super human that can tick of all theses boxes of responsibilities and skills:

  • Supporting the small and fast moving Nivel team in delivering better services with an attention to detail and a drive to ensure that all operations are carried out to the highest standard

  • Support the operations in the implementation of environmentally sustainable practices, services and metrics for ourselves and our customers.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, intense environment

  • Build relationships with mobility operators and cities

  • Contribute to projects with cities, research partners, mobility partners and other stakeholders beyond micromobility.

  • Contribute to business development within existing markets and new sectors.

  • Support marketing and sales activities.

  • Collect insights from operations to the product development team.

  • Write accurate and compelling bids to the public sector.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in English. Proficiency in Spanish, French, Polish, Italian, German or any other major European language would be an advantage.

The right candidate may be offered additional part-time job opportunities and collaboration for a master thesis - and of course there are opportunities for permanent employment after graduation.

Apply!

Please apply using the form telling us how you can contribute to the team - in English or Scandinavian.

We offer flexible working, a nice coworking space at Innoasis, tasty lunches and a good proportion of nerdy enthusiasm for regulation technology for the sake of better cities.

We look forward to hearing from you!
